AA Roadservice Now Covers Bicycles and E-Bikes
More AA Members are choosing bicycles and e-scooters for their daily commute, so the company has extended AA Roadservice to cover regular bicycle breakdowns, e-scooters in addition to e-bikes which were already covered.
The service will be provided as part of both standard AA Membership and AA Plus Membership, at no additional cost or sign up.
In most cases the AA will fix the problem at the roadside and have you safely on your way. They'll provide you with expert advice and, if extra support is needed, arrange for you and your bicycle or eBike to get to the nearest place of safety or repair.
E-Bikes
Where an Electric Bicycle becomes immobile due to a flat battery, electrical system issues, a flat or damaged tire or wheel, broken chain, or broken pedals, the AA will provide bicycle recovery to the Member’s home address, vehicle, or place of repair. Carriage of passengers can only be to the legal limit of the attending vehicle. If alternative transport for the Member is required, this will be at the Member’s expense.
